The Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs established Snowmobile Friendly Communities to celebrate the dedicated volunteers that are the backbone of snowmobiling. It is used as an advocacy tool to promote the mission statement of the AWSC: to promote safe and responsible snowmobiling.
The town of St. Germain, the St. Germain Chamber of Commerce, and the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club are the proud recipients of this prestigious recognition since 2019. The Snowmobile Friendly Community Award is a positive program promoting the sport of snowmobiling.
